Important changes affecting requests for extension of time to respond to requests for information requisitions

Please note that we no longer accept requests for extension of time to respond to a requisition by Application Enquiry.

Please use Reply to Requisition and your request will be immediately attached to the application. Click here to view guidance about this service.

We will only consider requests during the 6 working day period before cancellation is due. Requests will only be granted if you satisfy us that the matter is being actively pursued and there is a realistic prospect of resolving the problem within a reasonable period. We will normally refuse a request and cancel an application if this is not done. See Section 3 of Practice guide 50 Requisition and cancellation procedures.
